As do my rear summers so I guess if we get winter this year I'll just work from home until Spring. I hear the latest winters are much better in the cross-over temps though.Īll that said, I haven't bothered fitting winters this year, they only have 3mm on them anyway.

I've done alot of winter miles at 5-6am and I'd put my cut-overs at freezing or just below in the dry, and 2-3C in the wet, none of this 7C malarkey. More so under braking, but cornering is improved.ĭefinitely there's more movement of the car on winters (I'm 225 all-round as well) but I'm always in SP+/Manual so it's no issue, if your in safe-mode I can imagine the car will use TC alot more and give the illusion of less grip. I have to disagree somewhat, the Pirelli winters are better than my MPSS it in cold, wet conditions, even used winters vs new MPSS in my experience.
